Our home boarding is exclusively for dogs already part of our daycare family. After assessments and regular daycare visits, your dog boards in a familiar environment, sleeps comfortably, and enjoys a stress free stay with experienced carers they know well.

Our home boarding dogs return home with us each evening after spending the day in daycare, allowing them to relax in a familiar, comfortable environment alongside staff and dogs they already know and trust.
To ensure the highest level of care and welfare, we only accept home boarders who are already part of our daycare community. All dogs must first pass an assessment and then attend a minimum of three daycare sessions. This helps dogs become familiar with our team, environment, and routine, making time away from their owners far less stressful and allowing them to settle quickly and happily. They also require an up-to-date vaccination record, including kennel cough, which is not always included in standard vaccination schedules.
For any stay longer than two nights, we require an overnight trial. This allows us to ensure your dog eats well, sleeps comfortably, and fully settles in our home environment — something we feel is essential for their wellbeing, particularly during longer stays. It also provides peace of mind for owners, knowing their dog is relaxed and content before a longer stay.
Our home boarding service truly offers a safe, calm, and loving “home from home” while you’re away.

Our fully equipped boarding bungalow and qualified animal welfare team provide a calm, secure environment for your dog. With space to play, areas to relax, and expert care throughout, you can leave knowing they are in safe hands.
Home Boarding Facilities
In 2025, we purchased a dedicated home boarding bungalow to ensure our dogs receive the very best experience possible. The bungalow is fully set up with waterproof flooring throughout, comfortable beds and toys in every room, a large secure garden for outdoor time, and of course a sofa perfect for snuggling up and relaxing. And if your dog just wants a little “me time”, there are plenty of quiet corners to relax in.
Experienced Staff
Every member of staff at A Groom With A View brings a wealth of experience, extensive training, and a genuine love for dogs. Our team includes experts with qualifications in dog first aid, dog handling and behaviour, and a BSc in animal welfare.

We make sure every dog enjoys a happy, safe, and memorable holiday with us, giving you peace of mind while you’re away. With all the enrichment they receive, not only are you on holiday but so is your dog!
