Dog Day Care
At A Groom With A View doggy daycare, we give your pooch the chance to play and spend time with their new friends in rural Lincolnshire while you're unable to care for them during the day or just want to exercise and socialise your dog. With our doggy daycare services, you can benefit from the peace of mind that your furry best friend is safe, secure and will return home as a happy hound.
A Groom With A View is set in a lovely location amidst rolling fields and rambling paths, shaded by the ancient trees of Old Wood. Our doggy daycare centre is nestled in the village of Skellingthorpe, just a 10-minute drive from Lincoln.
We assess all dogs before we can accept registration to ensure every dog is happy in the day care setting. The assessment takes an hour long, is £15 and you leave your dog with us. If they do well they are welcome to stay with us longer to help settle them in.
Please register your dog up to 24 hours before your assessment once you have booked your assessment and don’t forget to send us a picture of your dogs proof of vaccination by email, fb message or bring it along with you, you must also ensure your dog has the kennel cough vaccine ideally 6 monthly but at least annually.
We will assess your dog in a 1-1 session with our experienced, qualified, friendly staff. we will spend the first part of the session getting to know your dog before we slowly introduce them to the day care pack. We will give you feedback on the assessment , we have cctv to show you your dog playing and we also have a one way mirrored viewing gallery . We will post videos and pictures onto our fb page at the end of each day not just on the day of assessment so you will always feel a part of your dogs day .

Socialisation at our doggy daycare center
Dogs are pack animals. Like humans, they need lots of company. Dogs have an innate need to be around others and interact with them. At A Groom With a View, we cater for a number of dogs each day and we’ve expanded as the popularity of our centre has grown.
We know that owners can’t always provide enough socialisation at home, especially if you’re out at work during the day, running errands or caring for others. At our doggy daycare centre, we provide all our dogs with oodles of socialisation to keep them entertained and to teach them how to interact with other four-legged friends.

At our Skellingthorpe doggy care centre, we place great importance on ensuring we take a holistic approach to tending to your pet while he or she is with us.

We do offer a collection and delivery service for dogs attending our day care centre.
Collection&Delivery Service: £12 each way in a 3 mile and under radius £15 each way in a 10 mile and under radius. Booking is needed 48 hours in advance
Collections are between 7:30-9:30 and drop off's from 4-6pm.
Daycare discounts are available when using our grooming services. Full day is £30 plus groom price
Monthly direct debits are available through membership packages please ask for details
